Confidence to Engage

We know the biggest barrier for people with disability is when others are not willing to engage with them on the same basis as people without disability. Fear of offending or ‘getting it wrong’ can result in avoidance behaviour. This can evidently affect the delivery of patient care. Confidence building is the best way to overcome this.
